Lorama
Polysaccharide Resin Technology (LPRT) offers a highly modified, colloidal suspension
of a finely-divided blend of polysaccharide particles (disperse phase) in water
(bulk phase or dispersion medium). Each particle is less than 10 microns with
a surface area that is much greater than the particle's volume. Lorama Polysaccharide
Resin Technology gives the manufacturer of solvent-based alkyd enamels, primers
and stains the opportunity to save from 5% to 10% on the raw
material costs -- while maintaining the original quality.
Lorama starts with a very specific blend of specialty polysaccharides, which
are uniquely processed to yield a hydrolytically stable -- hydrogen bonding
-- film forming resin. It is a coactive resin, in that the Polysaccharide Resin
hydrogen bonds with numerous, generally utilized resins.
Lorama Resins:
• Are made from renewable, agricultural raw materials
• Are environmentally friendly
• Do not deplete natural resources!!
