As one of Lorama’s most versatile products, LPR76™ has been used in a number of patented and innovative applications:
To create a CD surface coating, LPR76™ is mixed with chemical substances to create a clear varnish on the CD surface.
In the cosmetics industry, the process of making mascara utilizes LPR76™ as a wetting agent for black iron oxide.
In Berlin, LPR76™ is used as a binder to hold stalks of straw as well as fibrous and other natural material to form a lightweight sound insulation barrier for car doors.
As an additive in fire retardant coatings, LPR76™ bubbles when it burns, creating an air barrier over the surface substrate and generating insulation against the fire. It has even been used in airline carpets, sprayed directly on the carpet backing!
Much like LPR76™ is used in fire retardant coatings, LPR™ 94 forms an interface between water and the air on the surface of the item it coats, bubbling as it burns.
